Endowments build and sustain The ASCO Cancer Foundation and will help secure our future. They provide a firm financial foundation that impacts cancer research, education and quality of care long after the initial gift is made.
An endowment is a fund made up of gifts and bequests that are subject to specific requirements. The principal must be maintained intact and invested to create a source of income for The ASCO Cancer Foundation. Endowment dollars are vital because they generate income. A portion of that income is available year after year to sustain the highest quality programs, while the rest is re-invested to build the fund. An endowment provides lasting support and serves as a meaningful way to leave a lasting legacy. You can name an endowment and set it up to benefit an area of interest for research, education or care.
