Grant Application Review Process
The Grants Selection Committee reviews The ASCO Cancer Foundation grant applications and is comprised of members who represent a wide variety of both cancer research expertise and academic institutions. The committee reviews the grant applications using a peer-review process.
Conflicts of Interest
ASCO strives to ensure objectivity in the grant selection process by identifying and managing potential conflicts of interest. The ASCO Conflict of Interest Policy requires disclosure of financial interests as part of a greater conflict management system. In addition, grant reviewers take specific measures to ensure that personal and professional relationships do not influence grant selection activities.
