2010 Annual Meeting Networking Event
Plan on attending our Grants Alumni Networking Event on Saturday evening, June 5th, at the 2010 ASCO Annual Meeting in Chicago, Illinois. The event will take place in the Associate and Active-Junior Member Lounge. Invitations have been sent to all current and past recipients. If your email address or contact information has changed recently, please send an email to grantsalumni@grants.org with the updated information.
Get the Emblem for your ASCO Cancer Foundation Grant!
The ASCO Cancer Foundation now has emblems (similar to the Grants and Awards Program emblem above) for YIA, CDA, ACRA, TRP, and IDEA Recipients to use on presentations, posters, or publications to reference your grant funding and status as one of our alumni. Send an email to grantsalumni@asco.org with your name, grant received, and year of award to receive the appropriate .jpg file and the usage guidelines. The emblems may also be used on your bio on your institution’s website or on your Facebook, MySpace, or LinkedIn profile.
Join The ASCO Cancer Foundation Grant Recipients Network on LinkedIn!
We are pleased to announce the launch of our new group on LinkedIn, a popular business networking website. This is a members-only group that is open only to recipients of grants from The ASCO Cancer Foundation (YIA, CDA, ACRA, or TRP).
By joining the group, your profile will show that you are in our select group of current or past grant recipients. It will help you connect more easily with other clinical oncologists. Members will have access to discussion boards and news forums.
Through the TACF Grant Recipients Group you can:
- Network about scientific collaborations
- Post or discuss career opportunities
- Read posted news items of interest to oncology researchers
